Agency Trainer (Tier III) Recertification at Certification

This recertification opportunity is uniquely designed for Agency Trainers (Tier III) who wish to refresh their depth of knowledge regarding content and processes involved in delivering the Project GLAD™ 2-Day Research & Theory Workshop and Demonstration. You are electing to attend a Trainer In-Training Team's Certification Week facilitated by a National Training Center certifier.

Project GLAD™ Agency Trainers (Tier III) are certified trainers working solely in their district of employment. Recertification is required within 12 months of certification and every three years thereafter to maintain "active status" and provide Tier I Project GLAD™ training in their agency. All requirements outlined in individual certification letters must be cleared with the National Training Center (NTC) to be authorized to provide training. Agency Trainers must file a signed Agency Trainer Agreement with the NTC. Individuals working for an educational organization other than a school district must file an Authorization to Train Addendum with the NTC.

*Trainers who wish to work outside the service area of their district of employment must meet all prerequisites and eligibility requirements, successfully complete a Tier IV Recertification, and file a Project GLAD™ Consultants (Tier IV) Agreement with the NTC.

Recertification: Required Documentation
All trainers must bring verification of completing requirements outlined in individual certification letters issued by the National Training Center (NTC). If you need a copy of your original certification letter, email Debbie Phillips at dphillips@ocde.us.

Additionally, trainers must bring all items listed on the Personal Portfolio Checklist available at the Orange County Department of Education's website: http://ocde.us/ProjectGLAD/Pages/Tier-III-Agency-Trainers.aspx or by emailing our office. Please complete your checklist prior to arrival. Completed Personal Portfolios are required to receive authorization to train and maintain an "active" status.

5 Day Recertification at Certification:
June 24-28, 2013 - $250 per trainer

Registration will not be confirmed until payment in the form of check or purchase order is received. Additional information regarding training logistics will be sent electronically when registration is confirmed.

Democratizing the DBQ: US History
